An exceptional general practice veterinary hospital in Kerrville, TX is seeking a compassionate, skilled Lead Veterinarian to provide hands-on leadership, elevate clinical standards, and foster lasting client relationships.
We are looking for an accomplished doctor who excels at mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff, guiding day-to-day medical operations, and working in close partnership with the Practice Manager and Medical Director. What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Active State Veterinary License in good standing (or currently eligible/in the process of obtaining).
- Active DEA Registration in good standing (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Proven Leadership Experience: Typically 3+ years of clinical experience with a track record of guiding veterinary teams or practice operations.
- A steadfast commitment to clinical excellence and upholding the AVMA Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics.
